Purpose of the Program:
GEMS (Great Explorations in Math and Science) is a high-quality, flexible curriculum that brings exciting and effective science and mathematics activities into classrooms. The primary aim of GEMS activities is to engage learners\u2019 imagination while explaining fundamental scientific concepts and methods.
Within the 40-hour GEMS Certificate Training Program, modules based on the themes listed below will be delivered over four full days (32 hours). Following the training, an additional 8 hours of supervision will be conducted to evaluate teachers\u2019 GEMS classroom applications.
For the supervision process, participants are required to implement the assigned GEMS activities in their classrooms and record these implementations on video. Participants whose applications are approved by the instructor as being aligned with the GEMS methodology will receive supervision and will be entitled to obtain their certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
