Program Objective
The purpose of this training is to enhance the ability of graduate students (Master’s and PhD) in Educational Sciences and Social Sciences, researchers conducting academic studies, and professionals who require statistical analysis in their work, to use quantitative research methods and techniques. The program also aims to promote effective use of SPSS and Excel software and to enable participants to interpret statistical analysis results obtained using the SPSS package.

Course Content
• Stages of scientific research and basic concepts
• Selecting appropriate statistical techniques for data analysis
• Introduction to Excel and SPSS – data entry – commands
• Descriptive statistics – creating tables and graphs
• Normality tests
• T-Test – ANOVA
• Mann-Whitney U Test – Kruskal-Wallis H Test
• Correlation Analysis – Regression Analysis
Learning Outcomes
• Understand and recall basic concepts related to scientific research methods and structuring research.
• Enter research data into a computer environment and calculate descriptive statistics on this data.
• Explain the concepts of parametric and non-parametric tests and distinguish between them.
• Decide how to measure relationships between variables.
• Correctly select and apply appropriate parametric and non-parametric tests for comparing groups.
