Program Objective:
Cancer is a disease that requires significant management at every stage and can cause numerous psychosocial challenges. Effective management of cancer care requires all units involved in oncology to work in harmony, which is possible only by understanding the psychology of cancer and individuals living with it.
This training, organized in collaboration with the Psycho-oncology Association (POD) and Istanbul Aydın University, aims to equip healthcare professionals and related professionals who work with cancer patients and their families with:
• Knowledge of cancer and its treatment process
• Ability to handle challenges that arise during different stages of treatment
• Communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Competence in managing the rehabilitation process
