Prompt Engineering

Training Duration
1.5 Days (9 Hours)
The program can be planned in a format consisting of 1 full day + 1 half-day practical workshop, depending on organizational needs.

Training Objective
The aim of this training is to help participants develop effective prompt design skills in order to obtain higher-quality, more consistent, and more goal-oriented outputs from Generative AI systems.
By the end of the training, participants are expected to move beyond vague and random prompts and be able to write prompts that are clearer, more controlled, purpose-driven, and repeatable.
The program also equips participants with the ability to:
• clarify objectives,
• provide context,
• assign roles,
• define constraints,
• specify output formats,
• and improve prompts iteratively after reviewing initial results.
The additional half-day workshop is structured around real business cases, allowing participants to practice revision techniques and develop reusable prompt templates.

Training Content
• Introduction to Prompt Engineering
• Core elements of an effective prompt
• Clarifying objectives, context, target audience, and expected outcomes
• The difference between vague and explicit prompts
• Task definition, role assignment, and constraint setting
• Defining output formats and tone guidance
• Single-step and multi-step prompting approaches
• Revision and improvement cycles
• Practical introduction to zero-shot and few-shot prompting
• Guiding AI through examples to improve output quality
• Defining success criteria
• Prompt evaluation and testing
• Working with different input types: considerations for document- and image-based prompts
• Prompt examples for business correspondence, reports, presentations, and analysis tasks
• Creating reusable prompt templates and prompt libraries

Scope and Limitations
This training is not focused on any specific tool or AI model brand; instead, it is based on universal prompt engineering principles.
The program emphasizes:
• objective clarity,
• context,
• constraints,
• role assignment,
• formatting,
• example-based prompting,
• and iterative refinement.
Prompt design is approached not merely as writing good sentences, but as the practice of defining desired outputs, evaluating results, and improving prompts when necessary.
The following topics are outside the scope of this training:
• Agentic AI systems
• Retrieval-augmented generation approaches
• Fine-tuning
• Application development interface parameters
• System prompt architecture
• Developer-level technical configurations

Who Can Attend?
• Professionals who want to obtain higher-quality and more controlled outputs from Generative AI tools
• Users seeking more consistent results for recurring tasks
• Experts and managers aiming to turn Generative AI usage into a systematic skill
• Participants who want stronger guidance capabilities for writing, analysis, summarization, classification, and content creation tasks
• Individuals who wish to create reusable prompt structures tailored to their professional roles
• Professionals with non-technical or limited technical backgrounds who want to learn effective prompt design
