Training Objective
With the enactment of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data on April 7, 2016, secondary legislation was also published in the Official Gazette and entered into force shortly thereafter. This law, which aims to ensure the security of personal and sensitive data, imposes significant responsibilities and obligations on data controllers and data processors in workplaces.
This training program aims to inform participants about what constitutes personal data, the criteria for lawful processing, and the legal and criminal consequences of unlawful processing, acquisition, sharing, or distribution of personal data, thereby raising awareness and compliance levels.
