Program Objective:
Mediation is a widely used Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) method in countries with developed legal systems. Its importance among alternative dispute resolution methods is steadily increasing. Mediation provides a fast, cost-effective, and practical way to resolve legal disputes without going to court, or with court guidance.
Through mediation, parties can resolve their disputes with the assistance of a neutral third party, offering one of the most effective means of dispute resolution globally.

Eligibility Criteria:
According to Law No. 6325 on Mediation in Legal Disputes, published in the Official Gazette on June 22, 2012 (No. 28331), and the Regulation on Mediation in Legal Disputes, published on January 26, 2013 (No. 28540):
• Participants must be law school graduates with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• After completing the training provided by an authorized institution, participants must pass the exam conducted by the Ministry of Justice and register in the Mediation Registry to start practicing as mediators.

Attendance Policy: Participants who fail to attend at least 1/12 of the total sessions without a valid excuse will be dismissed from the program.

Certificate:
Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate approved by Istanbul Aydın University Rectorate, authorized by the Ministry of Justice – Mediation Department. The certificate is E-Government verified.
