o Shooting with Digital Compact cameras
• Camera settings
o How to set ISO/ASA
o How to choose Quality/Size settings
o How to adjust White Balance
Hour 2: Perspective and Shooting Techniques
• Controlling perspective
o How to control perspective by elevating to the center of the building
o Controlling perspective with a wide-angle lens
o Controlling perspective by stepping back from the building
• Taking the photograph
o How exposure metering works in Aperture Priority mode
o How exposure metering works in Shutter Priority mode
o How exposure metering works in Program mode
o How exposure metering works in Manual mode
o How to balance overexposure
o How to balance underexposure
Hour 3: Light Control, Challenges, and Post-Processing
• Controlling light
o What is natural light? How to utilize natural light sources
o What is artificial light? How to utilize artificial light sources
o Handling low-light conditions indoors
• Common challenges in architectural photography and solutions
o Challenges in architectural shots
o Shooting on cloudy days
o Shooting north-facing buildings
o Shooting tall buildings
o Shooting long and low buildings
o Shooting in narrow spaces
• Perspective corrections on the computer
o Which photos need correction digitally?
o How and in which software to correct photos
