Program Aim:
This program provides teachers and teacher candidates with different perspectives on planning, implementing, and evaluating instructional processes. Participants will develop into program-literate and design-oriented individuals who create learner-centered programs that foster deep and lasting learning within an integrated curriculum framework.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completing Module 1 and Module 2, participants will be able to:
• Design integrated programs and create connections between lessons using an interdisciplinary approach.
• Develop thematic frameworks that support long-term learning.
• Analyze learning outcomes in lesson plans according to cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.
• Decide on appropriate assessment and evaluation methods for learning outcomes.
• Determine instructional strategies, methods, and techniques to achieve learning outcomes.
• Design instruction using the UbD (Understanding by Design) framework.
• Develop program literacy aligned with MEB curricula (2018 & 2024 Maarif Model) and IB-PYP programs.
• Utilize artificial intelligence tools to enhance instructional design.
Program Structure:
The Integrated Program & UbD Teacher Training is composed of 2 modules, each offered online and live. Participants may register for modules individually.
• Scheduling Options:
o Weekdays: Monday & Wednesday, 19:00–21:00/22:00
o Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 18:00–20:00/21:00
• Duration: 32 hours per module
• AI tools will be integrated throughout all sessions.
Module 1:
• Introduction to integrated programs, IB-PYP, and UbD.
• Analyze learning outcomes across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.
• Plan instructional processes based on analyzed outcomes.
Module 2:
• Design integrated programs and unit plans.
• Apply the UbD framework in practical planning exercises.
• Develop and refine instructional designs using AI tools.
