Program Objective:
The program aims to strengthen families—the fundamental unit of society—so they can be healthier, more harmonious, and happier. It focuses on understanding and addressing the root causes of family problems from scientific, cultural, and psychological perspectives, while training professionals equipped to provide effective support.
Family issues may involve interpersonal conflicts within the family or events affecting the entire family, such as death, chronic illness, or a family member leaving home. The program prepares professionals to provide the necessary psychological support, strengthen family communication, and help family members be more empathetic toward one another.
The 450-hour Family Counseling Certificate Program consists of:
• 300 hours of theoretical training
• 120 hours of practical application
• 30 hours of supervision
The program is designed to train “Family Counselors” for family counseling centers and private institutions across Turkey.
