Turkey’s Most Comprehensive and Up-to-Date University-Approved Urban Transformation Program

Program Objective
Urban transformation is expected to be the driving force of the construction sector over the next 20 years. Recent earthquakes have shown that even if a building stands, it may not be structurally safe. Buildings constructed before 2000 carry a high risk, while buildings built after 2000 are not entirely risk-free. Over time, factors such as ground settlement, wall cracks, neglecting high-rise effects, exploitation of zoning amnesties, or major renovations can cause permanent damage to structures.
Urban transformation, which is essential to make existing buildings earthquake-resistant and modern, also creates new opportunities in the surrounding area. By learning the latest legislation, legal procedures, and technical knowledge and examining example urban transformation projects, participants can specialize in the field of Urban Transformation.
