Applied Training Focused on Obesity Psychology
Purpose of the Training:
In recent years, obesity—often referred to as a “global pandemic”—has been increasingly recognized as a serious disease that poses significant threats to human health. Various specialists, including endocrinologists, surgeons, dietitians, and phytotherapy experts, approach obesity treatment from different perspectives. While some initiatives emphasize the need for a holistic approach, an important shortcoming remains: the sustainability of treatment success.
One of the primary reasons for this limitation is the neglect of obesity psychology. This training program is designed to address this gap by helping psychologists, dietitians, and other related professionals develop comprehensive competencies in the psychological aspects of obesity—an area that has not yet received sufficient attention. The program aims to enable participants to explore obesity psychology in all its dimensions and apply this knowledge effectively in practice.
