Program Purpose:
This program aims to provide participants with the basic principles and techniques for writing high-quality multiple-choice items, conducting item analyses, and interpreting the results, focusing on skill-based and higher-order thinking as highlighted in the MEB 2023 Vision Report.
During the seminar, participants will review sample questions, create their own, and gain practical experience in applying item-writing principles and evaluation rules.

Program Content:
Day 1
Morning (09:30–12:30)
• Relationship between the assessment & evaluation process and teaching-learning
• Basic concepts in assessment and evaluation
• Test development process
Afternoon (13:30–17:30)
• Higher-order thinking skills assessed by items
• Principles of writing multiple-choice items
• Analysis of multiple-choice items and interpretation of results
• Reviewing sample multiple-choice items
