Program Objective:
This program aims to ensure that holders of the STEM Teacher Certificate achieve an advanced level of STEM education competency and become STEM Coordinators who can guide their schools. Participants who successfully complete the program will also be qualified to train other teachers in STEM education. STEM Coordinators will gain the experience necessary to transform their schools into fully-fledged STEM Schools.
Eligibility:
Participants must hold:
• A STEM Teacher Certificate, or
• An equivalent minimum 40-hour integrated STEM certificate.
The issuing organization, content, and instructors of the certificate will be reviewed to determine eligibility for the program. Only qualified applicants will be allowed to register.

Program Structure:
After a 1-day initial training, participants are expected to implement at least 6 months of STEM work at their schools or institutions, including:
• Collaborating with other teachers
• Delivering STEM education to students
• Preparing lesson plans for STEM education
• Conducting hands-on engineering projects with students
• Maintaining student portfolios
• Writing reports
• Preparing and delivering seminars
At the end of 6 months, participants will take the Competency Exam. Required documents and information will be provided on the first day of the program.
Competency exams will be conducted for all participants on the same day. Oral interviews will be scheduled individually.
Program Duration:
80 hours / Online (Live Sessions)
Program dates will be scheduled based on participant availability. Completion date may vary depending on individual performance. Sessions are personalized according to participant and instructor schedules.
Certification:
• Successful Participants: Those who complete the program and pass the competency exam will receive an 80-hour Official STEM Coordination Certificate issued by Istanbul Aydın University. Combined with the previous 40-hour certificate, participants will hold a total of 120 hours of certification.
• Participants Who Complete but Do Not Pass the Exam: Will receive a 40-hour Level 2 STEM Teacher Certificate upon request. These participants can retake the competency exam after 6 months with updated reports and portfolios.
